Clarification Current Account Cash Balance for Salary Payment in Chakwal

Subject: CLARIFICATION REGARDING STOPPAGE OF PAYMENT OF PAY & ALLOWANCES, DUE TO SHORTAGE OF CASH BALANCE.
Reference this office letter No. 555 dated 12-02-2019. So, the government has stated that due to financial shortfall and non-receipt of Additional Grants / PFC awards from the Govt. of Punjab. The Finance Department, Lahore this office stopped the payment of pay and allowances vide letter referred above.
In this regard it is to clarify that this office has only stopped the payment of arrear bills (pay & allowances) only and has not stopped the monthly salary/pay, therefore the monthly salary/pay may very kindly be drawn as usual.

Please refer to the above-noted subject. In this regard, it is brought to your notice this office is facing a huge financial shortfall. Whereas no additional grant/PFC has been awarded by Govt. the Punjab Finance Department. It is also added here that this office has taken the serious view and matter has been taken up with the Govt. of the Punjab Finance department through School education department. So keeping in view the financial hardships of DEA Chakwal, the payment of pay & allowance should be stopped till further order; furthermore, in the future, all payments of salary should be made only to bills on which budget certificate is noted and signed by the Dy. Director B&A DEA Chakwal.
