The government of Pakistan agrees to be a public holiday on 9 November Iqbal day. But there is a change regarding this day from a public holiday to a local holiday. So, the deputy commissioner issues a letter regarding local holidays in the Sialkot Areas.
In the past, Iqbal Day was one of the annual public holidays.

Allama Iqbal’s grandson shouted at the government. He said that there was no room for leaving in Iqbal’s ideology. But still, the government should restore the holiday as a devotion.
