 Eid-ul-Adha Holidays in Pakistan, 2024

It has been announced officially by
the Government of Pakistan that from 17^th to 19^th June
2024, there will be public holidays in Punjab and all over the country for the
celebrations of Eid-ul-Adha. During these holidays all the government and
private institutes will remain closed.

How long these
holidays will run?

These Eid holidays will follow the
already off day i.e., Sunday. So, these holidays will start on June 15 and will
end on June 19, 2024. As a result, people will be able to enjoy 5 holidays.

Why these
holidays are given?

These holidays are given so that
Muslims can celebrate Eid-ul-Adha with their family and friends. During this
religious celebration, Muslims perform Qurbani in remembrance of Hazrat Ibrahim
