 Independence Day in Pakistan,2024

Pakistan came into being on 14 August 1947. This was a day of joy and celebrations for Muslims and other Pakistanis living here.


HISTORY:

Overview:

Pakistan was made by the struggles of Muslim leaders of the Subcontinent. The Muslims gained independence under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He was a barrister who fought with other nations for the independence of Muslims.

Before the arrival of the British Army:

At first, the subcontinent was ruled by Muslims for many years. But due to the irresponsible behavior of Muslim Kings, the lost their control over the subcontinent. All the control was in the hands of the British army.

After the Arrival of the British Army:

They treated Muslims as their slaves. The Muslims not only had to face the brutality of the British army; they also faced the brutality of Hindus.

Hardships of Muslim leaders for independence:

Later, some Muslim leaders realized that Muslims needed an independent country where they could live freely. Many Muslim leaders raised their voices for the rights of Muslims but they had to face many challenges.

After this, some great leaders came who worked very hard for the independence of Muslims. Quaid-e-Azam was a great leader who led Muslims on their way to independence.

On 23rd March, the revolution of Pakistan was passed. After 7 years of revolution, the Muslims succeeded in getting Independence. Every year on 23rd March a Parade is arranged in which the army shows its Power and the different cultures of Pakistan are shown.

Role of Muslim Women Leaders in Independence:

Not only the Muslim men but the Muslim women also played a significant role in the Independence. Great Muslims women leaders like Fatima Jinnah, Begum Ranna Liaqat Ali Khan, and other great women leaders, worked equally with men for independence.

How is Independence Day celebrated in Pakistan?

In Pakistan, Independence Day is celebrated with great enthusiasm. People decorate their houses and buildings with Pakistani flags and different color lights. They arrange some functions and parties in their houses to celebrate Independence Day. In schools and colleges parties are held in which the students sing different songs to show their love for their country.

Overall Independence Day of any country is important for its people. Just like Pakistan, every country in this world celebrates its Independence Day with great enthusiasm
