 Ad-hoc Relief Allowance 2024, Civil Servants
of Punjab

According to this notification, the Punjab Government has granted ad-hoc
relief allowance-2024 with effect 1^st July 2024 and till further
orders to all civil servants of the Punjab Government and contract employees
employed against civil posts in basic pay scales on standard terms and
conditions of the contract under appointment as follows:  

·       BS-1 to BS-16                25% of basic running pay

·       BS-17 to BS-22             20% of running basic pay

The Adhoc
Relief Allowance-2024 will be Permissible subject to the given conditions:

1.    Be subject to income tax

2.    Be permissible during leave and the entire
period of LPR except during extraordinary leave.

3.    Not be treated as part of emoluments
for calculation of Pension and recovery of house rent.

4.    Not be permissible to the civil
servants during the tenure of their posting on deputation.

5.    Be allowed to public workers upon
their return home from their deputation assignment at the same rate and
quantity that they would have been allowed to have if they hadn’t been placed
on deputation
